Huntingdon Regional College Working Party Trip

Trips of a lifetime!!!

 So you have woken up, drawn the curtains to be welcomed by another cold, damp day with the prospect of another monotonous day at work……

Fed up with the everyday routine of life?

Frustrated by your hard work not being appreciated?

Disheartened by being ignored by people plodding through life?

Whether you are a Sixth form or Gap year student, fancy the most rewarding work experience/ working holiday or just want to be involved in one of the fastest growing charities in The Gambia and have a true insight into African culture then come experience the smiling coast, the warmth of the people, a world not revolving around material possessions, the opportunity to feel your work highly appreciated, be involved in the development of one of our school partnerships, helping the future of The Gambia gain the best start to their life.

The Trust also runs sports coaching for individuals or teams interested in working with local Gambian Clubs. The Gambians love their football and welcome others to join them.

The Trust are also able to organize work placements for anyone requiring experience as part of their college/university syllabus.

Working Parties Gallery

The next working party is planned for May 2014, however if there are a group of 6 or more people wishing to visit at any other time, please get in touch and we will do our utmost to organise a trip.

Below is a example itinerary for a working party trip.  All trips are tailor made to suit the group at the time.


Day 1 – arrive, unpack and dinner with Trustees

Day 2 – welcome meeting, walk around the local area to establish market, beach etc

Day 3 – working in school(s) teaching, coaching am
